How to charge more friendly to mobile phones

As a secondary battery, the lithium battery can be charged multiple times and is convenient to use. However, there are many opinions and even misunderstandings regarding the charging method of lithium batteries.

Correct charging method of lithium battery

1. Regardless of whether the lithium battery is used or not, the "shelf life" is 3 years, and it decays quickly after about 400-500 times. It depends on whether you use it for 3 years or the number of times you charge it first.

2. In addition to being afraid of low power, lithium batteries are also afraid of overheating, especially when charging. If your phone case has poor heat dissipation and heats up while charging, it is best to remove the case while charging.

2. Shallow charge and shallow discharge are the most ideal, that is, charging and discharging do not reach 100% of the maximum capacity of the battery, that is, charging and discharging do not complete. When the battery is 10%-90%, it can be charged normally, and it can be pulled out after it is fully charged. Do not use the phone for a long time during the charging process, which can make it live the longest.

You can charge the lithium-ion battery whenever you need it. There is no need to discharge 100% before charging. Lithium-ion batteries work in a charge cycle mode. If the used (discharged) power reaches 100% of the battery capacity, you have completed a charging cycle, but not necessarily through a single charge.

For example, you might use 75% of the battery a day, and then fully charge the device at night. If you use 25% of the electricity the next day, then the total discharge will reach 100%, thus completing a charging cycle in two days.

 

It may also take several days to complete a charging cycle. After a certain amount of charging, the capacity of any type of battery will decrease. The capacity of lithium-ion batteries will slightly decrease with the completion of each charging cycle.
