5 Best Activation Methods For Dead Lifepo4 Lithium Batteries

5 Best Activation Methods For Lifepo4 Lithium Battery, it is not necessary to charge the new lifepo4 lithium batteries for 10 hours to activate the battery activity, it can be activated according to the normal charging and discharging method.

The charging and discharging characteristics of lifepo4 lithium batteries and nickel batteries are very different. All official technical documents emphasize that overcharging and overdischarging will cause huge damage to lifepo4 lithium batteries, especially liquid lithium-ion batteries. Therefore, it is best to charge the lifepo4 lithium batteries according to the standard time and standard method, especially not to charge for more than 12 hours. Usually, using the charging method described in the lifepo4 lithium batteries manufacturer's operating instructions is the standard charging method.


In fact, shallow discharge and shallow charge are more beneficial to lifepo4 lithium batteries.

1. Activation dead Lifepo4 Lithium Batteries Methods 1: Tandem Method

Connect a normal voltage 12 volt battery in series with the entire battery pack.

For example, if the original car is a 48V-20AH battery, then we will connect another 12V-20AH battery in series. A 12V battery with sufficient power has a voltage of about 13V. After connecting in series, the voltage of the entire battery can be increased, and then the battery manufacturer's original charger can be used to charge it. After the charger is plugged in, the charger indicator is red, and it has Charge normally. When the indicator light of the charger turns green, you can remove the battery connected in series, and then charge it normally.

This method is a little more cumbersome.
